How can I kind of "spike" my hair?

Dont use so much gel. I suggest you use Gatsby hair wax. Just dont use so much. And to get the seperate sticking up spikes just get a piece of hair you want to spike and twist the top tips abit and do the same with the others. Rest, just ruffle your hair a bit and use some hair spray to hold it.
