Why do libeals think muslims, buddists will imulate into American society when history dictates otherwise?

Irish, Germans, Swedes, Russians immigrated to the USA and became true Americans but we are having a Balkanization in America today which will lead to European type confilict. Angela Merket President of Germany has said that mulitculturalism is a complete failure and is the ruin of European countries.
