I dropped my phone in the pool!?

I just bought a samsung evergreen from att 2 days ago and took it to my pool and dropped it in. I took it out right away and took the battery out. I stuck it in rice for the whole day. My phone has water in the screen but everywhere else seems to be dry. I already tried shaking it. I am afraid to put the battery in and the screen break if it hasnt already. HELP!!!
