I lend my vehicle to a friend. They obtain full coverage but reg is in my name. Is my liability protected?

Here's the scenario. I lend my vehicle to another party. They obtain full insurance coverage on the vehicle, however the legal ownership, i.e., registration remains in my name. In the event of bodily injury or property damage caused by this other person in my vehicle, is my liability protected? Insurance or law professionals please.
